Research Statement

My aim of study is to develop a quadruped robot that can run like actual four-legged animals such as dogs, cheetahs, horses, and so on. In our previous study, we succeeded in designing a simple leg-control rule that realizes stable and adaptive running. Now I’m developing a quadruped robot as a tool of validating the proposed rule in the world. After accomplishment of the robot, I’m going to apply the proposed rule and get the robot run.
