Research Statement

I am studying running locomotion in quadrupeds. It is well known that quadrupeds use two main types of running styles. It is thought that each species has its own preference for which running style it uses and that it selects the appropriate style depending on its morphology. I am constantly researching to understand the benefits of changing running style and the mechanisms that produce differences in running style.
