Main research topic is about motor control underlying quadruped locomotion.
Quadruped shows agile and adaptive locomotion owing to the coordination between thier legs and other body parts such as their trunk, head and tail.
I am working on understanding such body-limb coordination mechanism of quadruped locomotion through synthetic approach with mathematical modeling and robot experiments.
